Why not just use an AI site builder or a Squarespace template, for a business?
Those tools are fine for getting something online fast, and we won't pretend otherwise. What they don't do is fix a site that's already losing you leads, or stick around afterward — most $29/mo builders leave you to figure out updates, speed, and edits alone. We rebuild it properly once and then keep it running, which is the part a template subscription doesn't cover.
Why not just use a template, for a portfolio?
A template can't solve the actual problem, which is that it's built to fit thousands of people at once. However well you customize the colors, the underlying grid, spacing, and structure stay generic — and anyone who's scrolled a lot of portfolios can tell. A custom build starts from your work instead of a pre-made shape, which is the one thing a template fundamentally can't offer.
How long does a project take?
Most business redesigns take two to four weeks depending on scope. Artist portfolios vary more with how much custom interaction is involved — we'll give you a real timeline once we've scoped it.
